This time he's taken old time traditional folk tunes (and if you've listened to any of the early Appalachian stuff, you know there isn't much stuff that's bleaker), recorded entirely with a  1970's-era Polish mic, mixed with a pair of shitty old headphones and a $6.00 set of PC speakers and makes it sound brutal, bleak and super-creepy all at the same time.
