Well, good news for Karmadoza. The final cuts have been made and the cover song we recorded, "She'll Come Back", was accepted for inclusion on Skipping Discs' tribute to The Turtles: "Shells: Women Artists and Female-Fronted Bands Cover The Turtles".

We're quite thrilled and honored by this as Turtles founders Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan, also known as Flo and Eddie, were part of the selection commitee.

The tribute should be out in early 2006 and the song will also be included on our 5-song EP out later this fall. I've put the song up on MySpace but I'll most likely take it down in a few days.

Howard Kaylan ("Eddie")'s comments:

Howard was very impressed with your band's performance and said it had "some really great energy behind it." Also, he was very surprised that anyone chose to cover the song or even knew about it since it was so obscure - it originally appeared in the soundtrack of some little-known movie and was re-released on their less-than-successful album, "Wooden Head."
