Hi Jake and the Band,
Let me tell you something ... YOU ARE AWESOME BUNCH. Finding music like this made these days is really rare, and at that a real treasure when not based on any devilish/satanic crap. Thank you so much for this ... and hoping you will keep it this way. Makes me wonder what music (band wise) you were listening to when you were younger or even now. References to Iron Maiden and double guitar already have been mentioned, nonetheless your overall sound is much heavier. Although, have to say that personally I like the fact that on the new album you have the soft breakers between harder rocking tracks. It reminds me a lot of early Budgie albums - btw, one of my favorite bands in the genre.
Listening (for the second time only) your latest album "Man of Two Visions" , and already it makes me wish I could lay my hands on your debut album.
I could kick myself for not picking it up when it was available, but to be honest the graphics kind of put me off at that time. As you mentioned in the previous thread, hopefully the reissue will be available soon. In the meantime, I will probably pick-up the vinyl copy and transfer it to CD-R, so I can listen to it in the car (which lately happens to be my main listening post).
Hope to see you some day LIVE in action. Btw, are you doing any shows in 2009, and then any shows more up north (Philadelphia, New Jersey)?
Best wishes,
Peter
