Hi Jake and the Band,

Let me tell you something ... YOU ARE AWESOME BUNCH. Finding music like this made these days is really rare, and at that a real treasure when not based on any devilish/satanic crap. Thank you so much for this ... and hoping you will keep it this way. Makes me wonder what music (band wise) you were listening to when you were younger or even now. References to Iron Maiden and double guitar already have been mentioned, nonetheless your overall sound is much heavier. Although, have to say that personally I like the fact that on the new album you have the soft breakers between harder rocking tracks. It reminds me a lot of early Budgie albums - btw, one of my favorite bands in the genre.

Listening (for the second time only) your latest album "Man of Two Visions" , and already it makes me wish I could lay my hands on your debut album.
I could kick myself for not picking it up when it was available, but to be honest the graphics kind of put me off at that time. As you mentioned in the previous thread, hopefully the reissue will be available soon. In the meantime, I will probably pick-up the vinyl copy and transfer it to CD-R, so I can listen to it in the car (which lately happens to be my main listening post).

Hope to see you some day LIVE in action. Btw, are you doing any shows in 2009, and then any shows more up north (Philadelphia, New Jersey)?

Best wishes,

Peter

Peter, you comments are much appreciated! We are laying low for a few months, but you can see us in late July or so, we will be heading up that way for a few shows. Hopefully we will repress the s/t cd soon as well. Stay in touch! And thanks for the support! - Jake

I'd love it if you tried to make it to NJ. It's a real pain in the ass for NJ residents when shows are in NYC because the trains don't run late enough and you either have to leave shows early or hang around for a few hours...somewhere, hoping not to get raped.

Hi Jake,

Great to see how close you are with your fans. In my experience with forums like this it is not always the case. Will certainly check your web site for new updates - shows and the reissue.
Just saw on internet some on-line store selling your debut CD for something like $39.99 This is actually the cheapest price I found, from here it only goes higher.

Best wishes for you and the Band.

Dude if i did not already own that album i would pay 40 bucks for it but if I love a band I go to extremes to purchase their stuff.

Dude, if it does not benefit the band I have no inclination to make someone rich. Besides, if the band works to have the album repressed I would rather wait and hope for bonuses thrown in.

Cheers,

Thanks for the tip, but already have bought the black vinyl in the local store. Kind of like black anyway, it seems to go well with music like this. The bad part is can't listen to vinyl until I set up my turntable, that has been sitting in the box for few years ... let's hope it comes back life.

Cheers,
