any news on this? i got to talk to Al for a few minutes and he said the Leafhound is gonna put these out. I am sure it will take a LONG time but i was wondering if this is still on the burner....

Actually it won't take that long at all. I'm waiting to recieve the original artwork from Al. Should have these in a day or two. Also thanks to John Brenner, i have alot better understanding of what i have been needing to send to Leafhound to get these started. Bet you didn't know John spoke Japanesse!? :laugh2:

good news!!! From what i have read on the Iron Man myspace page, it just seemed like things move slow at times and lady luck has been a bitch.

Looks like things are starting to happen! It would be cool to see Al get his due, that dude is the shit on the geetar!

I don't need the re-issues, because I still enjoy my originals, but 'Black Knight' is definitely one of the heaviest albums, which has been released on Hellhound. The crushing guitar riffs and tone in combination with Ron Kalimon's ultraheavy drumming is outstanding. Maybe this is the heaviest Hellhound album......

Klaus, you may want to reconsider buying the reissues when they come out, because we have taken the time to have them REMASTERED, and if your really a big fan of "Black Night", wait till you here it now. If you thought the drums were heavy before....:hat:

Leafhound has everything they need now to go forward with these. I belive they will still need a few more months to manufacture them. Hopefully they will see the light of day by fall 2007.:doom: :cheers:

O.K. Just got word from Leafhound that both titles will be out in November 2007. Not sure an exact release date yet. I'm sure Leafhound will annouce something soon.

I've seen The Passage come up on a few sites to pre-order, but haven't seen Black Night yet.

Not yet, but we must be getting close. I'm sure Leafhound will announce something soon. Both releases are comming out on CD & LP at different dates. The LP versions maybe after the first of the year.

Other then the brand new release "Submission, "The Passage" remains my favorite to this day. Although 'Black Night" does feature a different line up to "The Passage" in Rob Levey on vocals & Ronnie Kalimon on drums. And there are some great songs as well, like "Leaving Town" "Life's Toll" "Why Can't You See Mee" and more.
It seemed to make sense to finally issues these on vinyl as well. At least for the purests who demanded it. I guess vinyl isn't dead afterall.:doom: :cheers:

I'm a happy owner of the copy of "The Passage" sine yesterday. Fantastic album, I love the riffing and the opening track just slays! I don't know yet if I prefer "The Passge" or "Generation Void", but both albums are top-class recordings anyway. I'm really looking forward to the "Black Night" rerelease.

So much so, i'm trying to talk the new line up of the band into preforming it Live. New Singer Joe Donnelly does a great job singing the old songs and really has a way of makng them his own.

That's a very good question. Seems like Leafhound has dropped out od sight and may be missing in action. Very disappointed in them right now. Hopefully i will hear something soon.

Well, it's supposed to be both, although the vinyl was to be very limited to only 500 copies 100 of which are supposed to be Die-hard versions with extra's. But i'm begining to wondred if it will be comming out thru Leafhound after all. Again like others i have heard nothing from Toreno since the last time he contacted us back in april.:( :sad: :mad:

Well here we are in September and no sign of anything.
That's o.k.
I have other plans which i will reveal soon enough. All is not lost and it will see a reissue, Just unfortunately maybe not this year. Unless something changes on his end.:doom:

As for your first question i really don't know.
As for your second question. BLACK NIGHT will get a cd reissue. Probably next year, and no it won't be on Leafhound.

Nothing will be on Leafhound after this year. If it comes out on his label next year, I will considerate a Pirate.
We are talking to another label about releasing Black Night & The Passage. This time not only will they both be remastered they will have added bonus DVD's on each release. And probably more extensive liner notes as well. More on this soon.:doom:

U are correct 'bout the Leafhound Re-issues - they were bare! No linear Notes - No Bonus tracks - and no re-mastering...

So 2009 will be the year of IRON MAN!!!!
