Reviews Träd,
Gräs och Stenar - Ajn Schvajn Draj (Silence Records)

Träd,
Gräs och Stenar are a four piece band from Sweden. Their name in
English is Trees, Grass and Stones. The music they specialize in is drenched
in the sixties: Pink Floydian in nature, with a smattering of the Beatles
Revolver album sound thrown in with the Doors and Hendrix for good
measure.
This band plays songs with spaced out guitar solos, some vocals with a
lot of instrumental spaced out vibes. But it is all pretty mellow. This
band has been around a few years, as they say their heyday was between
1967 - 1972 but the band is still putting out some phenemonal material.
Two songs kind of sound like they are beer drinking songs. A very enjoyable
listen.
Track listing:
1. Everyone's Sleeping
2. Fire Out of Control
3. Under the Cork Oak
4. The Dove
5. Treacherously Icy
6. Lament of a Simple Man
7. The Return of the Oppressed(a Love Story)
8. Ajn Schvajn Draj
9. Nothing 1
10. Ringring
11. Nothing 2
12. Albatross Meets Lonely Sailor
13. Exit
As I stated previously all songs are very 60's vibe-filled with the exception
of Nothing 1 & 2 which have a sound more like beer drinking
songs. So sit back drop a hit of acid or fire up the bong or joint and
enjoy!
Lineup:
Bo Anders Persson - guitar and vocals
Jakob Sjoholm - Guitar and vocals
Torbjorn Abelli - bass and vocals
Tomas Mera Gartz- Drums and vocals
